He Is Risen!

The powerful, miraculous Easter message tells us one day we’ll be dead to this world, dead to sin, and alive wrapped in God’s glory. Jesus lived among the Jews and the gentiles showing us his Gospel of love, telling us how to live in peace and care for each other. The suffering He endured illustrates our imperfect world and His unconditional love for us. His resurrection proclaims God’s sovereignty.   Photo Courtesy of Photo Bucket “Now as Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside and said to them, ‘We are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and the teachers of the law. They will condemn him to death and will turn him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified…’” (Matthew 20: 17 -18) Photo Courtesy of Pixabay His crucifixion shows us God’s unconditional love. Christmas Messages

Christmas shines with God’s grace, forgiveness of sins and salvation. It’s difficult to fathom an unconditional love so great, or ever repay it. All I can do each year is let it fill my heart with joy as I stand in awe of it and accept God’s gift. A Miraculous Birth    Photo courtesy Photobucket “God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin’s name was Mary.” Luke 1: 26 - 27 “...the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; his kingdom will never end.” Luke 1: 30 - 33 A Gospel of love “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” “Jesus replied, “ ‘Love the Lor
